Open you eyes to see the world for its beauty astounds.
The ripple of the water,
The wind whispering among the long grass,
The beating of the sun almost as if the heart of the world moves within its core.
Though some days it may pass us by,
As we run through out busy lives,
There is always a time to step back,
Look at what we've moved past each day,
They step back and appreciate what you have,
Yet even if you have nothing at all,
A beautiful simple pleasure can be found in a birds sweet call.
Another year has past,
to you a blur like it was only yesterday,
If only you could have taken that step back,
Taken your headphones off,
Put down that book and looked up,
Look at the people around you,
You didn't do it today,
Why not tommorow,
You never know,
The one might be looking right back.

The palliative, the sugar, the sweetener is gone- within each syllable I write truth is laid before you.
